

Q: Are phone available and on the campus?
A: No. Campers need to bring their own cell phone to call home. Cell phones will not be allowed usage while players are trianing and playing in matches.


Q: How much spending money should a player bring?
A: We do not have a Camp Bank. We suggest $100. Campers are responsible for the money they bring and need to keep their dorm room door locked. The Soccer Shop is open daily and campers like to order pizza and drinks for a night snack. Camp balls are also on sale. All store profits go to GSM International to help at risk kids play soccer in Guatemala, Jamaica and Haiti. www.GlobalSoccerMinistries.org


Q: What do players do in their free time?
A: There's little down time during the day. Down time is right after lunch. We suggest getting the feet up in their room. Another down time is about 9 PM to 10:30 PM. We have planned activities and a camp store to go to. Campers by pizza, watch movies, can have a evening swim on certain nights and we have a weekly talents show which is very good and often quite funny.


Q: Do you provide evaluations for campers?
A: No. We do not provide this in writing. Parents who would like more information on the son or daughter must speak directly to the coach before they leave the camp. We suggested they attend the final match on the last day to do this. This match starts at 2:30 PM.


Q: Can parents and coaches come to watch sessions?
A: Yes. We would enjoy having you. You can also eat from the food service, but you will be charged for your meals. We encourage parents and coaches to visit. No on campus stay is available to parents.


Q: What age players do you accept?
A: For individuals you must be 12 years old and play on a travel team. No expections. You can attend camp starting age 10 if you are attending with your coach and your team.


Q: Who can attend your camps?
A: We do not take recreational players unless they have just made a travel club side. All players are either in high school programs or play on travel teams. We start at age 12 and go upwards. If you are a coach who wants to bring your Youth Team for U11 through U14 we accept younger age players but only on with a team that plans to attend.


Q: Do I have to do a key and houisng deposit?
A: All campers and coaches are require to bring to registration a $50.00 CHECK for their room and key deposit. this will be given back last day of camp at check out provided your room is in good order and you've not lost your key. If you lost your key you loose your deposit.


Q: When is my final balance due?
A: If you've paid on line you ahve no final balance but your $50.00 room and key deposit. If you've paid your camp deposit of $200.00 by snail mail your balance is due first day of camp at registration by check, cash or credit card.


Q: Will I receive a confirmation when I apply?
A: Yes. Internet applications will receive an immediate reply. Mailed applications will receive confirmation by snail mail or by e-mail address is listed. Make sure to include e-mail address on the application where indicated.


Q: What level of fitness you do require for players?
A: Players must come in match fit. there are two training sessions daily and one match every evening. Football fitness is needed.


Q: If I bring my team can I come as a coach with them?
A: Yes, you can attending with your team. You would be our guest if you bring 13 players. If you bring less you would have to pay your housing and food which would be $295.00.

A: Scroll down to the bottom of our home page and hit our Staff link. Additional coaches for this summer will be added.


Q: Are there employment opportunities with Coastal Carolina Soccer Camp?
A: Our coaching staff are UEFA trained and trained by the Football Association of England, Scotland or Wales.You would need a good playing back ground, a UEFA coaching license, and coaching background. Employment can cover up to travel insurance, coaches wages, housing, food and some gear. You are required to acquire your own J-1 visa with our appropriate agency or your own. Q: What happens if a camper is found with prohibited items: drugs, alcohol, tobacco products, fireworks, weapons?
A: A camper found with any of the above item in their possession or a camper found in a dorm area/room of the opposite sex will be removed immediately from our camp. A phone call will be made by camp staff to parents who must come and remove their son or daughter from our camp. Campers found in other camper rooms with our permission of those in living in that room are subject to the same removal policy from camp.


Q: Does CCSC offer programs for Team Coaches or Visiting Coaches?
A: Coaching attend free (receiving housing and food) if they bring 13 players or more from the school or club (male or female). All coaches attending with their teams are required to assist in the supervising of their players dorm stay. If assistant coaches want attend with the head coach they can for $295 (if space is available). This also provides housing and food while camp. Teams whose coaching staff cannot attend are required to bring a chaperon/adult supervisor who will receive housing and food. Camp application is required for all coaches/adult supervisor.
Coaches who wish to audit our camp for Coaching Education will be able to attend for $295. This provides housing and food while they camp and available only if space is available. Camp application is required.
Non players attending with their teams (managers or injured players) will be able to attend for $295. This provides housing and food while camp (only if space is available). Camp application is required.
